Pressurebox Pro - FAQ, User Guide and Troubleshooting
Here you’ll find frequently asked questions, guides, and tips for the Pressurebox Pro series.
1. Before Use
When you receive your Pressurebox, open and close the lid a few times to get familiar with the threading.
2. Closing
Close the lid firmly, but avoid excessive force, as pressure containers can become harder to open over time.
For optimal airtightness, align the logo on the lid with the transparent window on the cylinder.
For brand new containers, a slightly looser closing position (about 1–2 cm before this point) is typically better to ensure easier opening while still maintaining a very airtight seal.
3. Power On
Leave the Power Switch ON to auto-maintain pressure, or turn it OFF after pressurizing to conserve battery even longer—Pressurebox Pro will still hold pressure for a long time.
Pressurebox Pro has two pressure modes: Normal (green) and High (blue) - for faster ball pressure restoration. Hold the Mode Button for 3 seconds to switch between the pressure modes (Note: mode switching is only possible while the power switch is on).
4. Deflate
Remember to always turn the power switch off - and press the deflate button on the lid before opening the box.
5. Opening
To open it easily, hold the cylinder against your chest with the bottom of your palm, using your full hand rather than your fingers, and rotate the cylinder and the lid in opposite directions (see image).
Practical Tip: Easy-Open Customization
The Pressurebox features a dual-seal system. If you find the lid difficult to unscrew, you can customize the tension by removing the secondary O-ring located on the cylinder threads (see image).
Removing this loose O-ring is easy; simply use a flat-edged object to pull it out of its groove. The Pressurebox remains fully airtight without this secondary ring because the lid contains its own primary internal seal. This reduces friction and makes the box significantly easier to open. If you choose this option, simply close the lid slightly firmer than usual to ensure the primary seal is fully engaged.
How-to-Guides and Solutions for Pressurebox Pro
Please try the steps below if you are experiencing one or more of these problems:
- The product is leaking air
- The compressor restarts often
- The battery life is shorter than expected
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Check the power and lid: Ensure that you are using the product in on-mode, and that you have closed the lid as instructed. Close the lid firmly, but use no excessive force, as pressure containers can become harder to open over time. The position where the logo on the lid aligns with the transparent window on the cylinder provides optimal airtightness. (Tip: To ensure easy opening, it is often better for new products to be closed 1–2 cm looser than this point. It will still remain very airtight.)
- Inspect the O-ring and threads: Check that the O-ring on the cylinder threads is clean and correctly positioned in its groove. Also, check that the threads of the lid and cylinder are clean and that no dirt is stuck.
- Try removing the O-ring: If the issue persists, or if you still find it difficult to open, you can remove the O-ring on the cylinder threads and use the Pressurebox without it. The container should still remain airtight because the lid has its own seal, and it will be much easier to open.
- Test the deflate button: Ensure that the deflate button is not stuck open. Press the deflate button several times to make sure it moves freely. If this does not help, remove the lid, place it upside down, and use a screwdriver or a similar non-sharp object to firmly press the valve (located directly below the deflate button) from underneath so that the deflate button is pushed upward. This should ensure that the deflate valve is not stuck open.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact us and we will be happy to help!
(Important Note: If you are experiencing a red LED indicator light, the pump running frequently, or short battery life, these are typically signs of an airtightness issue rather than an electronic fault. If you notice these signs, please check the airtightness troubleshooting steps first.)
For any electronics-related issues, please try the following steps:
- Fully recharge to reset: Fully recharge the device until all four indicator lights stop flashing. This will reset the device. Make sure to use the original cable, as not all USB-C cables will connect properly. This is a common mistake.
- Disconnect from charger: Disconnect the device from the charging cable before attempting to use it.
- Check the power switch: If you are attempting to switch pressure mode, ensure that the power switch is turned on.
Record a video: If the issue persists, please record a short video showing the problem so we can better understand the issue and assist you further.
To make opening your Pressurebox Pro easier, avoid tightening the lid too forcefully when closing it. If you consistently find the box difficult to open, you can remove the thin black O-ring on the cylinder threads. The container will remain airtight thanks to the lid's built-in seal, and it will be much easier to twist open going forward.
If the lid is currently stuck, try the following steps:
- Deflate and use the correct grip: Ensure the box is fully deflated. Then, try opening it using the specific grip demonstrated in our user guide and welcome email.
- Improve your traction: Try wearing a glove (thin leather or rubber gloves work best) to get a better grip on the lid.
- Remove the silicone sleeve: Take the silicone sleeve off the cylinder and try twisting it open without it attached.
- Tap the lid: Gently tap around the outside of the lid threads with a spoon. This helps reduce friction and loosen the seal.
- Team up: Ask someone for assistance. Have one person hold the lid firmly with both hands while the other twists the cylinder.
If you are still unable to open the box after trying these steps, please contact us and we will be happy to help!
(Tip: Once you get the lid open, we highly recommend removing the O-ring from the cylinder to prevent this from happening again.)
Situation: The balls are too hard
- Understand the cause: Since the pressure inside the Pressurebox is higher than the internal pressure of tennis and padel balls, the balls may become too hard if left in the box for an extended period.
- Let the balls rest: This is easy to resolve. Simply open the box some time before playing and allow the balls to rest outside of the pressurized environment. The balls will gradually soften as the pressure equalizes.
Situation: The balls are not hard enough
- Activate High Pressure mode: If you want faster pressure restoration or firmer balls, use the High Pressure mode by pressing and holding the mode/battery button for 3+ seconds until the blue light appears.
- Start with good condition balls: If the balls are very soft or old to begin with, restoring pressure may take longer. For best results, start with balls that still have a decent amount of pressure and use the Pressurebox regularly between sessions to maintain optimal ball performance.
