How-to-Guides and Solutions
Please try the steps below if you are experiencing one or more of these problems:
- The product is leaking air
- The compressor restarts often
- The battery life is shorter than expected
1. Ensure that you are using the product in on-mode, and that you have closed the lid firmly.
The product is generally more airtight the harder the lid is closed, but don't close it so tightly that it's difficult to open again.
2. Check that the threads of the lid and cylinder are clean and that no dirt is stuck.
3. Take out and adjust the loose rubber O-ring on the inside of the lid, using this quick guide.
4. If none of the above works, use this quick guide to adjust the top part.
If the problem persists, please reach out and let us know how the performance of the product changed for each of the steps 1-4. This information will be required for us to understand the issue.
For any problems related to electronics, try these steps:
1. Leave the device off overnight.
2. Recharge the device until all four lights stop flashing. This will reset the device.
3. Ensure the device is disconnected from the charging cable before attempting to use it.
4. If the device doesn't start, firmly tap the compressor part of the box with your hand immediately after the click and/or after turning on the product. This should help if the pump is stuck for some reason.
5. Try removing the silicone cover and using the device without it. A misplaced cover could potentially block the air inlet. To remove the silicone cover, loosen it around the USB-C port and then take a firm grip and drag it slowly but steadily up without folding it.
6. Contact us with a video illustrating the issue with the product without the silicone cover, including the numbers on the lid & attach your receipt/order confirmation.
Answer: For ease of opening, make sure not to close the box too hard.
If you have closed the lid hard and are having trouble opening it, there are a few tricks that you can try.
1. First, make sure that you have deflated the box. If you still can't open it, try using a glove (skin gloves give the best grip), towel, or ask someone strong to help you.
2. If it still does not work, try to gently knock with a spoon around the lid (this reduces friction), and then try to open.
3. Remove the silicone cover for better grip. Just push it up, and it can be removed. For the next time, check the inside of the lid for dirt and follow the steps for airtightness and close the box softer.
4. If you are still having problems to open the box, let us know, and we will help you out.
Situation: The balls are too hard.
Solution: Since the pressure inside Pressurebox is higher than the internal pressure in tennis & padel balls, the balls can sometimes get too hard if they are in the box for long. However, this is an easy problem to solve. Just open the box some time before you play, and the balls will get softer, as long as they are not stored under pressure.
Situation: The balls are not hard enough.
Solution: If the balls used are too soft & old initially, it may take some time to restore the pressure. It is advisable to use balls with some pressure from the start and utilize the Pressurebox frequently in between each session to maintain optimal pressure.
